In 1989 he established The Music Sculptors, one of the principal companies specialising in sound-to-picture, enjoying great success with numerous commissions from the BBC and major broadcasters. Notable successes are the soundtrack for the award-winning animation 'First Snow of Winter', 'Where the Heart Is' and documentaries such as 'QED' and the BBC's 'Gulf War'. 1997's 'Perfect Day' single featured artists such as Elton John, David Bowie, Bono, Lesley Garrett and Sir Andrew Davis, leading to the receipt of many accolades and media awards.

In 2003 and 2004 Tolga Kashif directed the Northern Sinfonia in UK tours with Lesley Garrett and gave the Turkish premiere of The Queen Symphony at the International Izmir Festival. He conducted the piece in Australia in two sold-out performances at the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony, broadcast on ABC Classic FM, and ABC TV also showed the world premiere concert, which has been shown throughout Europe. The piece has been performed regularly and in 2004 received US and Dutch premieres. In 2004 he worked as Producer and Arranger with Vanessa-Mae for Sony Classics and Maksim for EMI.
