CeCe Sammy

CeCe Sammy is a popular television personality, vocal coach and consultant for some of the biggest names in music in the UK. She came to the public's attention as trouble shooter and vocal coach on the original 'Pop Idol' TV series and still works with its winner, Will Young. CeCe was also an expert judge alongside Stewart Copeland, TiTo Jackson, and Trevor Nelson in BBC One's series of 'Just the Two of Us'.

CeCe was also instrumental, alongside 19 Management including Nicky Chapman, in the television search for S Club Juniors and went on to be their vocal coach for both S Club and S Club Junior's subsequent tours.

CeCe has worked with several household names in the music business (including Will Young, Gareth Gates, Keavy Lynch (Bewitched), Amy Studt, UB40, and International labels including Sony/BMG, Polydor and Universal).

In addition, CeCe conducts regular masterclasses for up and coming talent and works in Malta, Spain, Russia and Los Angeles.

CeCe is regularly invited to guest and feature as an expert in vocal and performance training on UK television programmes including GMTV, This Morning, BBC Breakfast, The Wright Stuff, BBC's documentary 'Be My Baby, Channel 5 series 'Asbo Teen to Beauty Queen', and her latest BBC show 'Let Me Entertain You' starring alongside Brian Connelly.

CeCe recently participated in the fundraising All Star Workout Fitness DVD with a host of top name celebrities including Kate Winslett, Amanda Holden, Jenny Frost, Jo Whiley, Sarah Beeny, Faye Tozer, Bonnie Langford and Tania and Gordon Ramsey providing advice on healthy eating.

CeCe is presently working as a consultant and judge/vocal coach on her latest BBC show 'Dance x' alongside Bruno and Arlene.

Born in Trinidad, CeCe is a classically trained music pianist and has performed with Diana Ross, The United Colours of Sound at The Commonwealth Games and Buckingham Palace and has recorded several theme songs for television including the official Rugby World Cup song with UB40, before focusing on training well known and emerging musical talent.
