Ken Burton

Ken is an international conductor, performer, composer and educator whose work is carried out in churches, on television and radio, in the recording industry, on stage, educational institutions, prisons, hospitals, and many other venues, as well as on the internet. His work has been seen, heard, read, or performed by tens of millions world-wide.

Ken's training and experience has been an interesting mix of the many influences and opportunities of his extensive church life and formal professional education at the University of London and Trinity College where he was accredited licentiate professional development in all major areas of music from composition and performance through to Schenkerian analysis.

It is the integration of his faith and learning that has influenced what he does as principal conductor of the acclaimed London Adventist Chorale, Croydon SDA Gospel Choir, Goldsmiths Chamber Choir, and many other workshop choirs internationally.

Performances include BBC Radio 3 PROMS and Cathcart Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, St George's Chapel, Windsor Festival, impromptu performances in some of the ancient Roman ruins in Turkey, and performances at Fairfield Halls, Brighton Conference Centre, London Arena, Spitalfields Festival and the Classical PROM at Buckingham Palace.
